Part 3: BODY MOVEMENT

Hello Amazing Mothers!

Two weeks ago, we started on our MOMMY FREEDOM December Series – “How to Start 2021 with SUCCESS” and told you about the first part of our “Mindful Morning Magic” routine which was all about connecting to ourselves, our SOUL and practicing SELF-LOVE.

(If you have missed the email, you can click here and read it on our blog.)

In the second email we told you about the second part of our “Mindful Morning Magic” routine which focuses on RELATIONSHIPS, in particular with our partner and our children.

(If you have missed the email, you can click here and read it on our blog.)

This week we want to continue to inspire you to think about your personal success habits for the year 2021 by introducing our third “Mindful Morning Magic” routine:

BODY MOVEMENT!

Once my son has gone to school, I dedicate about 20-30 minutes of my time to my health and fitness.

I have my own workout routine but I won’t share it here in detail as I have discovered over the many years that I have been doing this, that the health and fitness routine is most definitely the most personal one.

You need to find what works for YOU and what lights YOU up. And that might not be the same every day so be sure to connect to your body and soul and to listen to what it needs.

I am convinced that a fitness routine will only work and give you the result you desire (be it general fitness, more flexibility, weight lost, cardiovascular strength, longevity,…) if you have FUN doing it!

So,… here are a few examples of what you could do in the morning:

Go for a 30 minute nature walk (with or without a friend or your children).

Do a 15/20 minute HIIT workout.

Do a relaxing or an energizing Yoga session.

Enjoy a calm and loving stretching session.

Go for an energetic run.

Do some weight and strength training.

Go skiing or for a hike/climb/swim.

Try some pole dancing.

Or simply put some great music on and DANCE in your house (this works really well with your children if you still have some at home – all kids LOVE dancing! 😊)

The possibilities are endless, and it really does not matter WHAT you do as long as you DO IT!

(And if you don’t know how to do some of these, look on the internet. We are so blessed to have that amazing resource at our fingertips.)

You might be the kind of person who needs a weekly routine (like me), so decide on it, write it down and follow it.

Or you might be someone who feels suffocated by a fixed routine (like my husband), so decide each morning what you feel like doing and do it.

As long as you move your body EVERY DAY for a little while you will feel the benefit. And by the way, you will feel it in your BODY as well as in your SOUL.

We all know that movement makes us happy. We might find it a challenge to get started but have you EVER regretted a workout or a nature walk?

I haven’t!  😊

We hope this might inspire some of you to create your own, loving, empowering family morning routine.

Don’t feel like you need to do all of these techniques at once. But maybe you want to start with one of the practices mentioned and see how that affects you and your day.

If you would like to learn more about any of the above-mentioned practices, let us know and we will do a more detailed blog or video.

Sending You Much Love & Laughter
