Part 4: YOUR MIND!

Hello beautiful parents!

Three weeks ago, we started on our MOMMY FREEDOM December Series – “How to Start 2021 with SUCCESS” and told you about the first part of our “Mindful Morning Magic” routine which was all about connecting to ourselves, our SOUL and practicing SELF-LOVE.

(If you missed the email, click here and read it on our blog.)

In the second email we told you about the second part of our “Mindful Morning Magic” routine which focuses on RELATIONSHIPS, in particular with our partner and our children.

(If you missed the email, click here and read it on our blog.)

In the third email we shared with you the third part of our “Mindful Morning Magic” routine which is all about your BODY and your Health and Fitness.

(If you missed the email, click here and read it on our blog.)

This week we want to continue to inspire you to think about your personal success habits for the year 2021 by introducing the fourth part of our “Mindful Morning Magic” routine:
THE MIND!
Well, … what about the mind?

Let me tell you a (limiting) belief I used to have:

For many years I was under the impression that when you are a child you go to school, then you might go to college, university or learn a profession in another way and then … you work.
You stop learning and you spend the rest of your life doing what you have learned.

How BORING!!! And how terribly LIMITING!

Then I came across this quote by Henry Ford:
“Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or at eighty.
Anyone who keep learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.”

I don’t know about you, but I want to stay young forever. As a matter of fact, both Amy and I intend to be active centurions with a young, alert mind. 😊

There are so many incredibly exciting things to learn, my list is endless. I get inspired to learn new things all the time.
So, every day after my movement routine, I spend 15-30 minutes of time on my MIND.

We would love to share a few tips and tricks with you on how you can learn and keep your mind active and young:

* Listen to inspirational videos or podcasts. (We are so grateful for the internet.)
* Read a book by someone you admire. (If you don’t like to read, get the audiobook.)
* Do an online course. (Our absolute favorite platform for online learning is Mindvalley. They offer inspiring, transformational courses and quests which take only 10-20 minutes per day. You can check them out here: www.mindvalley.com)
I often combine my learning time with household chores, so I will listen to a video or a course while food prepping or straightening the house.
Amy often combines her BODY routine with her MIND routine and listens to podcasts and videos while working out or walking her dog Duncan.
Many people I know will listen to audiobooks while working out.

I can guarantee you that stimulating your mind on a daily basis will enrich your life. It is a very powerful success habit that we highly recommend.

We hope this might inspire you to create your own, loving, empowering morning routine.

Don’t feel like you need to do ALL of these suggestions at once. Maybe start with one of the practices mentioned and see how that affects you and your day.

With this email we have come to the end of our MOMMY FREEDOM Series on How To Make 2021 Your Most Sucessful Year Ever.

We hope you have enjoyed it and if you want to learn more, please follow us on Facebook, Instagram or You Tube (by clicking on each name).

We wish you a wonderful end of the year and lots of SUCCESS for your year 2021.

Sending You Much Love & Laughter
